Welcome to IPMS Cleveland

IPMS Cleveland was founded by a group of keen modellers to provide a club for those with an active interest in scale modelling, who live in the Teesside and surrounding areas.

The aim of the club is to encourage and promote the popular pastime of scale modelling, which is as popular as ever and currently going through something of a ‘golden age’.

IPMS Cleveland Group Members

We regularly exhibit at many model shows around the country, including the annual ‘Scale Model World’ at Telford. Our impressive and varied display always draws praise from visitors, the modelling press and fellow IPMS branches alike.

The club is home to a multitude of modelling styles and interests, and is also home to two ‘special interest groups’ (SIGs); the Israeli Defence Force, and the UK & Commonwealth Armed Forces (UKCAF). You can see what everyone has been building recently by checking out our models section.

As well as covering modelling in the Cleveland area the branch is also affiliated with two special interest groups which are the Leopard SIG and the Panavia Tornado SIG.

What Happens?

Generally at meetings most members will bring along models that they are either working on or have recently finished. Other members are always happy to offer help and advice, and even provide spare part or decals when one has what another wants!

If you would like to get in touch for more information about the club please visit the IPMS UK page for contact information
